You can close your Presidential Bank account by doing one of the following:
- Mailing a signed, written request
- Visiting any of our branch locations
- Initiating a wire request to close (fees involved)
- Using online banking secure email to submit a request (e.g. transfer to another Presidential acct to close, send a cashier's check)
You can also transfer your funds before closing by:
- Transferring to one of your other Presidential Bank Accounts
- Writing a check
- ACH Electronic transfer of the funds to an external bank account
Please be aware that the latter options will not close the account and may cause fees to be assessed. Once you've verified that your balance is zero, please send a secure email or call us at 1-800-383-6266 to request that your account be closed.
